epic east coast road trip part 1-day five

our day in philadelphia was pretty relaxing. meg and i had been there countless times, and david really just wanted to see the historical sites. we have watched this temple being built from pretty much the start. it is incredible how far they have gotten since we last saw it a little over a year ago.

we went into one of the oldest cathedrals, and i am always so amazed at the architecture and how something that intricate could actually be built.

my father took us to lunch at one of my most favorite places- sabrina's. delicious, i crave that veggie sandwich i always order. after we walked to independence hall and the liberty bell. i have never seen the liberty bell so empty. we did not have to wait in line, and we basically had the whole place to ourselves.

after we took a tour of independence hall where my real obsession with national treasure comes out.

we hung out at the comcast center for a little but to see the worlds largest led screen. it's pretty awesome.

to finish off our night in philly we went to annie. david loved it too which surprised me a lot, but man those small children can sing.
