Little Moments-February

february was a pretty exciting month. i can't believe it is the end of march already. february could be described as the month of the utes for me. i made the muss board, i went to countless games and events and it was awesome.
 fun dinner date with friends
we have been features in many utah videos and articles with this sign
taylor swift's "shake it off" tutu at ballet west

super blurry but i took my mom to swan lake and it was so worth it to just see the joy this show brought her.
to promote the standord game we bounced a ball from noon until tip off
our mascot > than your mascot

i have always wanted one of these;)
 yet another gymnastics meet

march=the best month ever

march madeness (i fill out 6 brackets) and utah gymnastics. what could be better.

gymnastics is a pretty big deal here in utah. the red rocks are not only one of the best gymnastics teams in the country, they are also have the highest attendance, highest gpa, and best fans in the country. i am a total fan girl when it comes utah.

last night we were able to attend the pac-12 gymnastics tournament. it was incredible. the utes were amazing. plus they showed the utah georgetown game on the big screen so that was pretty awesome. there is nothing like being in the huntsman center though when a gymnast nails her routine and that perfect ten shows up. the utes were on fire and it was devastating when tori wilson injured herself. it was an incredible opportunity to witness history and the only team that is bringing home championships to this school.

our beloved sign was hanging on by a thread. finally time to retire this one.

it's fun to be a kid

the americana lego tour came through salt lake. i am not a huge lego fan, but i am a fan of awesome exhibits. this was one of them. there were the nation's most historic buildings in lego form. most of them took over 300 hours to build. it was incredible. i will let the pictures do the talking.

the reception

most girls dream of their weddings from the time they are small however, for me it is always something i have wanted to do for others. i never really thought about my own wedding, but what kind of wedding i would plan for someone else.

the lights had to be on for all the detail pictures, but in the dark it was pretty awesome.

when it came down to my turn i had the hardest time choosing anything because of all beautiful picture perfect weddings on pinterest. i knew i always wanted pink. i knew i wanted old and vintagey. so blush pink and gold became the colors.

#priceeverafter

Of course I am biased and think my wedding was the best in the history of like ever, but it really was the most magical day. I want to be able to remember everything from it. We were married on the most perfect October day where the weather was perfect and the colors were breathtaking. I have always wanted to get married in the Salt Lake temple and it was the best day ever.

I woke up early and started getting ready and Meghan sort of talked to me and helped but most my family was already up getting ready themselves. We had to be to the temple by 9:15 I believe and we were late. My mom's dress ended up not working out and so I was a little mad that she had to wear the shirt I didn't want her to. I think about it now though and none of that little stuff mattered at all.

I was beyond nervous. I am not sure why, but I just kept freaking out like crazy inside. I saw David and the nerves got even stronger. However, after getting dressed and ready for the sealing it got better and after waiting with David for the ceremony to start I knew how wonderful life was going to be.

Being in the sealing room with all of our loved ones was one of the best moments of my life. The love in that room was so thick. I am not a crier and I made it through almost the whole thing without shedding a tear, until it was time to hug everyone and I couldn't help it because I was so grateful for everyone. Our mission president and his wife were even there.

Things I Like About My Life Right Now pt.1

Life is quite glorious. I have a pretty positive outlook on life most of the time and usually cannot handle negativity because I have such a strong knowledge that we control our emotions and how we handle things, but occasionally I reflect and just realize how awesome my life is.

The Muss Board-I recently applied and was accepted as a board member for the Mighty Utah Student Section. This is sort of a big deal. Hundreds apply, 10 were accepted. I am so passionate about Utah sports so this is awesome.

Living within 30 miles of so many temples is pretty bomb.

Being able to see the gorgeous mountains every.single.day. blows my mind sometimes. Like how is this place so amazing.

Utah Gymnastics has my heart. Often times we will sit at home on a Friday or Saturday night just to watch the away meets. The home meets, we are always there two hours early light up sign in hand. Check out this piece The New York Times did on the Red Rocks. Ps. I and in a picture:)
