so christmas is pretty much my favorite season ever...like everyone elses right? this past week for a couple days the family and i went to salt lake and went shopping and looked at christmas lights at temple square. it was alot of fun. christmas eve i worked all day and then had a christmas party which is always fun, where we watched sherlock holmes before anyone else. woohoo. jk. alot of my friends and i exchanged gifts and i am probably the easiest person to shop for because i like everything and am happy with whatever...well my friends know me really really well and i got quite a stash...101 dalmations and aristocats to help with my disney collection...500 days of summer, big fish, harry potter and quite a few others plus tons of bath and body works stuff, socks and other stuff so overall i would say it was a great party and a great day..love my life

{The pictures are out of order but i will caption them}

so alot of you know i have danced my {{entire}} life, well since about the age of three.

and i danced the Nutcracker Ballet for about 8 years.
it was a huge part of my life. once you start you are family.
last year for the first time i watched this beautiful ballet. being a performer in
it, i never had the opportunity to watch except for proffessional
productions. i miss the 30+ hours a week of
practices, and the bloody blistering feet
and all the fun all of us girls
used to have. i will always be apart of this family of dancers which makes
up for not being able to perform , but i would still love to be up
on that stage to packed audiences and i will always be grateful
for the Tag for instilling her love of dance in me.

so for the real story. andrea meghan and i went twice. we became known as the frizz fan club. frizz is a girl i have known for quite sometime and gave her that nickname that i hear people use all the time now. nutcracker is crazy, you get so many gifts its like a mini christmas(not what christmas is about though) anyway so to show our support to our fellow dancers meghan and andrea bought these straw bundles.. which is rather hilarious because we were known as the comedians so people laughed.
next adventure...luke and i (after sledding) decided to enjoy the town of green river at christmas...love this small town for all the christmas decorations and town unity. anyway so there is this huge circular field as you are driving into town and they decorate it all nice and pretty and it has at least a foot of beautiful untouched snow. so me and luke decide to go to the very center where this light cone christmas tree is and take pictures. the snow is no longer untouched but has ours and only our footprints. the very first picture would be my name in the snow in this pasture. when you drive over the bridge it is on display for the entire town to see that that pasture is mine and my bff lukes.

this would be me andrea and meghan the first night of nutcracker we went

this is andrea and i the 2nd time we went with actual flowers we got for frizz

the frizz fan club is what we are known as

this would be luke and i in the pasture. this is on the fence enclosing it.

this would be us sledding before luke and i went on an adventure. we all went sledding at the high school and it turned out to be really fun.

rules of life

so moving to provo and going to hair school and being on my own for two years was tough...i learned alot of stuff.. and i thought i figured myself out..then i move home.. i guess i was wrong..so much has happened so i compiled a little list for myself and others so here it is...there are kinda alot but i dont care

Rules of life..by emily brooke harding.

1. Life, it goes on.
2. Promises get broken
3. Everything happens for a reason
4. Smile it will make everything better...sometimes
5. People are mean. get over it
6. Count your many blessings
7. live, laugh, love
8. People will let you down.. dont count on them to much
9. every minute you spend upset is 60 seconds of happiness you will never get back.
10. Pretend everything is fine because eventually it will be.
11. Regrets=there are none
12. Everything has a lesson to be learned from it
13. Reward yourself every once in a while. you deserve it.
14. Friends are amazing
15. Family is even better

the list will keep growing but for now this is plenty...

thanksgiving, black friday, and me the movie critic

ok so thanksgiving was an eventful holiday in my house. erin and todd spent it with us along with my aunt and uncle and their kids. it was alot of fun and great food. i had to work though so that sucked but time and a half is always good...i love thanksgiving because it makes you realize how much you truly have, and as i am pondering what i am thankful for on thanksgiving i realized why does it just have to be thanksgiving in which you are super thankful for everything. i am so thankful and happy for all that i do have. a couple weeks ago in conference a lady spoke on happiness and how people always say if only i had this or if only this would happen then i would be happy, but thats never how it works so i am trying this new thing to stop worrying so much and to just be happy and thankful for what i have now. and i realize how very blessed i am.
i had quite the epic black friday..jamin and i decided to go shopping but we both knew if we went to sleep that night we would not wake up in the morning in time to go shopping so we pulled an all nighter and watched new moon and then went to wal mart at 4. we thought they started selling stuff at 4 but no turns out we were an hour early. well in that hour epic things happened. i didnt know i could be hit so many times in an hour. first some lady runs into me with her cart. the next a guy pushes over a clothing rack on me and another guy runs a card table into my head. it was great but good thing though we went so early cause i got ten movies for 2 dollars each. a blu-ray player regularly 300 for 118 and a new gps cause my old one sucked...i got some pretty sweet loot that i am excited for. we also went to my other favorite store-hastings where i purchased the rest of the gilmore girl seasons that i didnt own and a ton more movies and on the bottom of my receipt total savings:300 dollars!! LOVE BLACK FRIDAY!!

MOVIE CRITIC TIME: ok so if you have not seen the blind side you are seriously missing out. its one of the best movies i have ever seen in my entire life and i have worked in a movie theatre for 4 years...thats a ton of movies..i guess its the oscar buzz right now and i hope it wins. Sandra Bullock-who is one of my favorite actresses- is AMAZING. she portrayed leigh ann touey perfectly and i just love it. i have seen it four times now and still get chills. if you are looking for a heart warming movie this is it.

NEW MOON...of course. look at those abs. taylor lautner can take off his shirt any time. new moon was ok. the acting is terrible but its just one of those movies you still love.
